北市府籲民眾勿亂棄置劣食油

北市環保局下午宣布，近日發生不肖業者製造劣質油品，部分民眾將未使用過食用油或烹煮過的廢食用油丟棄，其實廢食用油是可再利用的資源回收物，民眾可比照一般資收物交由清潔隊回收，切勿隨意棄置或倒入排水管，以避免阻塞排水管與下水道汙染環境。

環保局說，廢食用油是高價值的資源物，多用來製造具有清潔力的肥皂、以及生質柴油，市場供不應求；世界各國早已將生質柴油用在一般柴油車，北市環保局的柴油垃圾車早已全面添加生質柴油。

環保局指出，北市自民國89年7月實施垃圾費隨袋徵收政策起就開始回收廢食用油，每月平均回收的廢食用油約250公斤；統計102年至今廢食用油回收量已達到2714公斤，最近回收量較先前稍增。

民眾可先將廢食用油貯存在透明塑膠容器，累積達一定的量再交清潔隊回收。
